2012 and Beyond: The book by Laurence James Lucas

Laurence’s own studies of the Mayan calendars and the date of 2012 began in the early 1990s and included a 6-month intensive exploratory adventure in the temple sites of the Classic Maya jungle areas of Guatemala, Mexico and Honduras, as well as visions, rituals and decades of research. He has been teaching the implications of 2012 and how to follow the Mayan Sacred 260-day calendar since 1995. Since then, he has integrated shamanism, astrology, sociology and psychology, giving birth to his groundbreaking model of the Enchantments of Life, which enables a sophisticated understanding of the probable effects at the end the Mayan Long Count calendar and beyond.

Laurence's work is built upon a foundation of daily practices, involving yoga, qi gong and shamanism, as well as vast amounts of research and writing. Laurence’s Enchantments of Life, Storyteller and Mayan Calendar series of workshops, among others, have been highly acclaimed in both Hong Kong and the UK. His courses cover human evolution and its relevance to each participant’s life, particularly in regard to life changes.
